ODOO'S FUNCTION
In standard Odoo, product categories are shared, and users do not have a simple way to define which companies can access a product category and the products inside it. As a result, multi-company product organization is limited and often requires additional custom handling.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo enhances product category management by adding a Companies field, which allows users to define exactly which companies can access a given product category.
1. Go to Product Categories > Create a new category or choose an existing category. On the product category > Fill in the Companies. If only one (1) company is added > only the users from the selected company will be able to view this product category. |  |
2. If multiple companies are added > the product category will be accessible to users in any of the selected companies. |  |
3. company_id field on the parent product category will propagate into its child catergory and all the products within the category. |    |
