ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo, certain fields lacked a clear hierarchical structure with defined levels. This limitation created challenges when dealing with complex structures, as users had to manually track or visualize the depth and relationships between elements in these key modules.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
CLuedoo introduces a powerful new feature that automatically calculates the hierarchical levels for key fields such as Analytic Accounts, Account Report Group, Product Categories, and Contacts.
FOR ANALYTIC ACCOUNTSGo to Accounting > Configuration > Analytic Accounting > Analytic Accounts > New to create a new analytic account or choose an existing one e.g Here I created a new account called Project ABC and put it in Group C plan - If I go to the internal link of Group C, it shows that Group C has Level 1 for now - If I add a Parent (Group B) for Group C, Group C will have Level 2 and Group B will have Level 1 - If I add a Parent (Group A) for Group B, Group B will have Level 2, Group C will have Level 3, and Group A will have Level 1 | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
FOR ACCOUNT REPORT GROUPGo to Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Account Report Group > New to create a new report group or choose an existing one - Account Report Group Monday that I just created has Level 1 - If I create Tuesday as Parent Group of Monday, Monday will have Level 2 and Tuesday will have Level 1 - If I continue to create Wednesday as Parent Group of Tuesday, Monday will have Level 3, Tuesday will have Level 2, and Wednesday will have Level 1 Note: You have to choose Is Parent for all reports except the first one you created | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
FOR PRODUCT CATEGORIESGo to Sales > Configurations > Products > Product Categories > New to create a new category or choose an existing one - Category January that I just created has Level 1 - If I create February as Parent Category of January, January will have Level 2 and February will have Level 1 - If I continue to create March as Parent Category of February, January will have Level 3, February will have Level 2, and March will have Level 1 | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
FOR CONTACTSGo to Contacts > New to create a new contact or choose an existing employee e.g., I choose Adrian Smith If I go to Adrian Smith's profile, he will have Level 1 because I have not added a company. Type in the Company Name > Save > Adrian Smith will change to Level 2, his company - DCP Limited will have Level 1. If Adrian Smith has a child contact, then his child contact will become Level 3. | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
